RELIGIONS & SPIRITUALITY ESCAPADE IN SEOUL (SKESEL-01)

South Korea is a melting pot of spirituality. In addition to temples immersed in nature, the country is the cradle of
shamanism, one of the peninsula’s oldest beliefs, long before the arrival of Buddhism. In this escapade, we offer a few
days in Seoul devoted to the discovery of these two beliefs.
OUR HIGHLIGHTS
• Visit Jongmyo Royal Shrine, deep in the forest, where old wooden shelves house the spirits of the
Choson (Joseon) dynasties of kings and queens.
• Visit Jogyesa Temple, the center of the Jogyejong Buddhist Order.
• Stroll through Biwon, known as the “Secret Garden”, once a place of relaxation for the kings.
• Exploration of Bukhansan Mountain, home to one of Seoul’s main temples, Jinwangsan Temple.
• Relaxation and meditation in the middle of the park.
• Participate in a tea ceremony, this ancestral ritual is considered a form of meditation.
• Visit Myeongdong Cathedral, in central Seoul.
