the treasures of South Korea.
Day 1 SEOUL
Welcome by our representative at the airport, transfer and
check-in at the hotel.
Day 2 SEOUL - SUWON
Visit Changdeokgung Palace and stroll through Biwon
known as the “Secret Garden”, once a place of relaxation for
the kings. Then visit Jongmyo Royal Sanctuary, built in the
late 14th century.
Day 3 SUWON - JEONJU
Explore Hwaseong Fortress, one of the country’s largest
military structures, built during the Choson (Joseon)
Dynasty. The tour continues to Haenggung Palace, where the
king and royal family retreated during a war. Stroll through
Jeonju Hanok Village, with 800 traditional Korean houses.
Day 4 JEONJU - MAISAN - NAMWON
Discover Jeonju and Maisan Provincial Park, whose name
means the “Horse Mountain”. Stop at Tapsa Temple, famous
for its stone pagodas. Continue to Gwanghallu Pavilion,
known for its excellent craftsmanship.
Day 5 NAMWON - GOCHANG - GWANGJU
Visit the small town of Damyang for a walk through the
Soswaewon Garden. Continue to Gochang with Moyang
Fortress, which has overlooked Moyang Village since the
16th century
Day 6 GWANGJU - BOSEONG - GWANGJU
Visit Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation in Boseong, specializing
in green tea production. Stop at Hwasun, the region’s
second prehistoric site. Visit Jogyesan Provincial Park,
including one of the three jewels of Korean Buddhism:
Songwangsa Temple.
Day 7 GWANGJU - JEJU ISLAND
Visit one of Jeju Island’s four tea plantations, followed by
a tea tasting. Excursion to Andok Valley, reputed to be the
most beautiful on the island.
