                                                   11 days / 10 nights




        This 11-day itinerary offers a unique experience, exploring the thousand-year-old cities of Samarkand and
        Bukhara, and the great square of Khiva, a pearl of Islamic architecture. This must-see tour offers a first
        glimpse of the country’s architectural heritage and warm-hearted culture.


        Day 1    URGENCH - KHIVA
                 Welcome by our representative at the airport, transfer to Khiva and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, explore
                 the city, then take part in a woodcarving workshop.

        Day 2    KHIVA - TOPRAK-KALA - AYAZ-KALA - URGENCH - BUKHARA
                 Depart to visit the Toprak-Kala fortress and the two citadels perched on a hill in the middle of the desert. Return to
                 Khiva, then transfer to the airport for the flight to Bukhara.

        Day 3    BUKHARA
                 Visit  medersas,  mosques  and  mausoleums.  Stroll
                 through  the  central  market.  Visit  the  Poi-Kalon
                 architectural complex, which served as a lighthouse
                 for caravans. Folk concert in a medersa.

        Day 4    BUKHARA
                 Visit the Tchor-Minor medersa, with its 4 minarets           Ur

                 and blue-turquoise domes. On to the village of Kasri-

                 Orifon to visit the necropolis of a Sufi saint. Continue   Khiv                  Tashkentashkent

                 to  Sitorai-Mokhi-Khossa,  a  summer  residence  of                             Samarkandand
                                                                                    Bukharaa
                 Bukhara’s last emirs.                                              Bukhar
        Day 5    BUKHARA - SAMARKAND
                 Transfer to the station to catch a train to Samarkand.
                 Upon  arrival,  check-in  at  the  hotel,  then  stroll
                 around Registan Square.

        Day 6    SAMARKAND
                 Explore  Samarkand,  discovering  medersas,  the
                 Gur-Emir  mausoleum  with  its  interior  decorations
                 showcasing the decorative art of the Muslim East,
                 and  the  Bibi-Khanym  mosque.  Then,  attend  a
                 Theater show.

        Day 7    SAMARKAND
                 Continue the tour of Samarkand with the Afrasiab
                 Historical  Museum,  renowned  for  its  famous
                 frescoes. Stroll through the village of Koniguil, and
                 discover local crafts.
        Day 8    SAMARKAND - SHAHRISABZ - SAMARKAND
                 Depart to Shahrisabz via the Takhtikaracha pass. Once over the pass at 1788 meters, stroll through the stalls of the
                 spice and dried fruit market. Arrive in Shahrisabz, and visit this green city. Return to Samarkand.
        Day 9    SAMARKAND - TASHKENT
                 Transfer to the station to catch a train to Tashkent. Arrive and check-in at the hotel.
        Day 10   TASHKENT
                 Visit the capital and its must-see sites, including the Khazrati-Imam architectural complex housing a center of Islamic
                 science and the tomb of Imam Abu Bakr Muhammad Kaffal Shashi. Stroll through the Chorsou market.
        Day 11   TASHKENT - DEPART
