Visit Bangkok’s major monuments (Grand Palace, Wat Pho...).
Boat trip to explore the Klongs of Thonburi. Sukhothai

Day 3 BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA
Depart to the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam: Ayutthaya.
On the way, stop to visit Bang Pa-In, a royal palace dating from A Ayutthayayutthaya
the reigns of Kings Mongkut and Chulalongkorn.

Day 4 AYUTTHAYA – PHITSANULOK – SUKHOTHAI Bangkokok
Bangk
Drive to Phitsanulok. Walk around the town and visit Wat Phra
Si Rattana Mahathat, the most important temple in the region.
Continue to Sukhothai and visit the UNESCO-listed historic park.

Day 5 SUKHOTHAI – LAMPANG
Departure by road for northern Thailand.
Stop to visit Sri Satchanalai historical park.

Day 6 LAMPANG – CHIANG RAI
Exploration of the famous Golden Triangle, the natural mountain
border separating Myanmar, Thailand and Laos. Canoe trip on
the Kok River leading to a Karen village.
Day 7 CHIANG RAI – THATON – CHIANG MAI
Visit the village of Patai to meet the Padong Karen ethnic group,
then head to Chiang Mai.
Day 8 CHIANG MAI
Discovery of Chiang Mai, the “Rose of the North”.
Excursion to Doi Suthep hill to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
Day 9 CHIANG MAI - ELEPHANT CONSERVATION CENTER - CHIANG MAI -
NIGHT TRAIN
Immersion in an elephant preservation center whose main
objective is to protect elephants. Visit to a garden with over
150 species of orchid. Transfer to the train station to return
to Bangkok.

Day 10 NIGHT TRAIN – BANGKOK – RIVER KWAI
Visit the Damnoen Saduak floating market, before a ride on
a long-tail boat. Continue to Kanchanaburi, on the banks of
the River Kwai.

Day 11 RIVER KWAI – BANGKOK
Return to Bangkok and free time to wander around the city.
