LUANG PRABANG ESSENTIALS (LATESS)

Luang Prabang is undoubtedly one of the most important Buddhist sites in Asia, and also a UNESCO World Heritage
Site. It protects dozens of temples occupying almost a third of its surface area, and a unique colonial heritage, which
this stopover offers the chance to discover, with a bonus visit to the sacred Pak Ou caves.

Day 1 LUANG PRABANG
Welcome by our representative at the airport, transfer
and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2 LUANG PRABANG : PAK OU CAVES
Discover Luang Prabang, the former royal capital. Visit
Luang Prabangrabang
the famous Vat Xiengthong, considered the city’s most Luang P
beautiful temple. Then, depart by a traditional boat to
discover the magnificent Vat Long Khoun, famous for its
18th-century frescoes. Navigation continues upstream
on the Mekong River to the two sacred caves of Pak Ou,
home to thousands of Buddha statuettes.

Day 3 LUANG PRABANG
Early morning departure for the daily monk procession.
The people of Luang Prabang rise at dawn, respectfully
waiting for the procession to give alms to the monks.
Visit the former Royal Palace, now a National Museum.
