CAMBODIA
INTRODUCTION
Cambodia, also called Srok Khmer (literally "Land of Khmers"), is a country in Southeast Asia,
inhabited by about 15 million Cambodians.
The geography of Cambodia is dominated by the Mekong and the Tonle Sap, the main fishery
resource. Due to Its low altitude geography the country is largely at the same or below the
level of the rivers. In the rainy season, the Mekong reverses and flows to the Tonle Sap.
